Shawl of MANY Colors

This shawl is plain tabby weave. I didn’t want to try a pattern as I thought it would be lost in all the pretty colors and textures of both the warp and weft.

Here’s a shot of the yarns I used:

Yarns used to make tabby weave shawl. The far left yarn is Noro.

Here is the finished shawl. I just LOVE it. The colors and textures are gorgeous.

Today I’m warping my loom to make another Handwoven Magazine project. This one is from the Sept/Oct 2009 issue. It is for dish towels by Gunnel Oresjo. I’ve got to warp on 408 ends of STRING. Wish me luck!!
